HANNAH MAY
IN DEVELOPMENT
Hannah May (no relation to Carolyn - just a happy coincidence!) is a writer and feature journalist who lives and works in the far west of Cornwall. After completing her degree in English Studies and travelling to as many far-flung places as possible, she returned to Cornwall to pursue her writing career. Her words have appeared in a variety of websites, online literary journals, national travel magazines and swimming publications, as well as a book that she co-edited about the Jubilee Pool lido in Penzance.
A swimmer and swimming teacher who has been in and around water her entire life, Hannah takes much inspiration from the region’s natural landscapes – particularly the sea. Her debut memoir (in development) is a story about navigating new motherhood and grief whilst swimming the seas of home.
She lives by the beach with her partner, daughters and dog, Baxter.
